Business Developer (US)

As a Business Developer you will be responsible for building the business unit in the US for SPONSOR.ME. You will focus on growing the customer base and developing partnership opportunities. You will help design product and program identities, steer marketing campaigns, and develop internal and external events.

Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently are essential to succeed in this role. The successful candidate will be excited about Sales, Business Development, community building, product marketing, partner development, and event scouting.

This is a full-time position, remote based and reporting via e-communications and video conferencing to the CCO in Oslo, Norway.

Responsibilities

Create business partnerships with online media sites, sports programs, teams, leagues and federations that desire to provide fundraising opportunities to their members.
Help prioritize projects with Marketing Leadership based on impact, company objectives and resources.
Support various marketing/creative operations related work including, but not limited to: recruiting, people programs, learning and development.
Maintain brand integrity across all project deliverables.
Implement and support strategies to maximize customer acquisition.
Development of new partnerships and relationships.
Communicate and collaborate with partners.
Coordinate activities with the SPONSOR.ME Team in Oslo, Norway.
Setup and maintain performance reports.

Minimum Qualifications

Organization and people skills and the ability to set priorities, problem solve, improvise, self- motivate, multi-task and work in a dynamic, remote and rapidly changing environment.
Demonstrated marketing and/or sales experience in web technologies and/or sports- sector.
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and similar office software.
Fluent in English and preferably 1+ other language.

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management experience.
Great presentation and communication skills.
CRM services, Adobe CC.
Experience working with Product Marketing, Creative Agencies, Internet or online marketing companies.
