Hi! My name is Peter Michael. I am a Kiwi (New Zealander) Ice Speed Skater spending most of the year in Heerenveen, Netherlands. I am a full-time athlete, training on average twice daily. My goal is to win an Olympic Medal at the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics, and I need your help to turn this into a reality.

A little about me:
I am a 12 time World Champion in Inline Skating, who then jumped over to Long Track Ice Speed Skating. The reason for this was that my dream was to become an Olympic medalist. So two years after my last Inline world title of 2016, I was competing in the 2018 Olympics and attained two fourth places. I also took part in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. However this was not enough, and now I am on track to reach my goal.
I am currently training with a Dutch ice Marathon team, Team A6, to prepare for the Olympics. I am also doing Inline skating for Team Wicked (subsidiary of Powerslide) and compete in the European Inline Cups,

Being a Kiwi (New Zealander), and training full time abroad is very difficult, sometimes quite complicated and very costly.

Being a part of the YAM (Young Athlete Masterclasses) initiative. With YAM we aim to give back to the youth, our future champions. We do this by providing masterclass sessions focused on technical improvement of their technique and training for Inline and Ice Speed Skating. I strongly believe in giving back (paying it forward).

To excel, I need to be constantly pushing my limits. I am ready to work hard, but at the same time, I know that the road to success will be costly. By supporting me today, you are investing in something bigger than just a fundraiser. You're changing my life.
