My name is Noi and I am an athlete from Los Angeles, CA. I am trying to raise $4200 so I can continue pursuing my passion, Archery. I know it's a lot of money, and this is why (besides that hopefully one day youll be watching me in the Olympic Games) I came up with few good things you can choose from and your support is rewarded. Ill be giving back something for your contribution which is important to me, besides doing everything that I can, in return for your trust in me.
Archery equipment is expensive; my arrows, strings, finger tabs, limbs, risers and so many other bits and pieces. It will allow me to compete with the upper level archers I'm now facing.
In the past few months I have competed in State and National competitions and the International Championship in Vegas, where I continued to improve my score . I'm grateful that my family was able to take me.
I am training hard, 5 to 6 times a week, shooting over 200 arrows a day and doing whatever I can to keep getting better. Now I am in need of a more intense and higher level of coaching, specific tournament coaching and targeted practice with an Olympic coach, upgraded equipment and the means to travel.
I want to excel in competitive archery and fulfill my dream and make it to the Olympic Games. But first I need to compete in the California State Games in July 2019 and most important rank high in the Indoor World Series 2020, and I need your support! Noi2020 !
Archery has given me so much confidence in my life. I accidentally stumbled on archery as an elective activity in Middle School. The teacher right away said "Wow, Noi, you have a talent." I remember how good it felt to hit the target for the first time.
My twin brother and I were a combined 7lbs at birth and I was the smallest one (3 lbs) and my mom was told that I might never walk. When I crawled for the first time at 8 months, the doctors declared me a miracle baby. I've always been labeled shy and been dealing with social anxiety but with Archery I've found the voice I wasnt sure I had. It has helped me thrive in all aspects of my life including my grades at school which are at a 3.85 GPA.
I hope I'll be able to demonstrate to other kids (and adults) the power in believing in yourself and working hard, shedding away the labels you are given for the titles you want. I want to inspire people to not be afraid to be their true selves and do what they are passionate about. I believe in miracles despite the challenges I've been facing and Archery is a miracle to me, I hope you will help me keep this miracle glowing.
I would appreciate your support in the form of a small contribution to this fundraiser or a simple share on Social Media (Facebook, Twitter etc..).
I will do my best to keep you updated and involved in my training progress and my ups and downs on the road to success.
Thank You for all and anything you can support me with,
All my love, Noi.
