My name is Marconette Els, I am from Gordonsbay, Western Cape in South Africa, and I actively pursue Tug-of-War. It is a great passion of mine, and at the age of 16, (yes..) I was selected to represent my country, South Africa as a National Athlete, in the Tug-of-War, World Championships. This will be hosted by Switzerland, in Sursee.

I've been training hard day in day out for a few years to get to the level I am at today. Today, I can say that my dream has never felt so close, and l need all the support I can get to afford the USD 3200 price tag. I appreciate any donations and will be sure to post updates of my progress.
