Story

Hello,
My name is Anatolii Nesterenko.

My wife Olena and I are the proud parents of a remarkable 14-year-old daughter, Nastia. We live in the city of Sumy, Ukraine, which is just 30 kilometres from the border with Russia and constantly under attack. Our family is close-knit and deeply committed to strong family values, education, and athletic development. We’ve always supported our daughter’s dream to become a professional athlete - and now, we’re reaching out for your support to help her continue this journey during a time of extraordinary difficulty.

Meet Nastia
Nastia was born and raised in Sumy. She picked up her first tennis racket at the age of six, and she’s been in love with the game ever since. Tennis is more than a sport for her - it’s her passion, her identity, and her dream. Her dedication and perseverance have earned her success in numerous Ukrainian youth tournaments.

Despite the war and all its challenges, Nastia continues to train and compete at the national level. She plays in Ukrainian Tennis Federation (UTF) tournaments and actively participates in city and regional championships. Some of her recent achievements are listed below.
Why We Need Your Help
Due to the ongoing war, our city and local economy have suffered greatly. Many small businesses, including ours, have been significantly impacted, both my wife and I have lost much of our income. We are unable to fully support the intensive training and travel expenses needed for Nastia to pursue her career in tennis.

Moreover, Sumy currently lacks the proper infrastructure for high-level training. Outdoor courts are closed to children under 14 due to safety concerns, leaving Nastia without a place to practice consistently.

Thankfully, Nastia has received an invitation to train in the city of Lutsk, Ukraine, and Kiyv, Ukraine, where a full-scale professional training cycle can be organized - four hours daily, including private lessons, group sessions, sparring, and fitness training.

How You Can Help
We believe that sports are not only about personal achievement - they are also about hope, resilience, and unity. Your support can help Nastia continue doing what she loves, grow as an athlete and a young woman, and represent Ukraine on international courts one day.

Whether it’s a financial contribution, mentorship, or simply sharing this message - every bit of support matters. We are also happy to provide any additional documents or information you may need.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading our story and considering helping our daughter chase her dream.
